Ever since she heard Newton Faulkner, Ben Howard, John Butler and Xavier Rudd, Yentl has been on an inspiring journey combining her passion for percussive fingerstyle guitar with heartfelt songwriting.
2023 - 2024 was even more inspiring, getting to know coastal indiefolk artists like Ziggy Alberts, Steph Strings, Hollow Coves, and so on.
Yentls music is touching, heartfelt, full of fire and pure joy! During 2021 to 2023 she's been developing her first recordings in her homestudio. The first EP 'Kite', produced and coached by UK Guitarist Declan Zapala, is now fully launched. And, yes, there's some new EP plans around the corner: Yentl can't wait to start working on a new indiefolk EP about adventure, love for the ocean and nature, freedom, being allowed to be yourself, and connection.
Enjoying her guitar playing and singing is mesmerizing. Especially at the juicy, joyful moments where she involves people to sing along, playing stompbox and foot percussion! A unique, unforgettable combination of beautiful things happening on stage!
